TOP 40 SONGS WEEK No. 24

AVRIL LAVIGNE IS THE NEW QUEEN OF THE CHART

Avril Lavigne dethrones Beyonce and Shakira after one week at the top. Girlfrined is her eighth number one single in chart history. The song is the first single of her third album The Best Damn Thing which debuted at number one the same week her single the top in the U.S.

Gwen Stefani Ft. Akon’s the sweet escape holds at No. 2. Our previous number one Beyonce and Shakira’s Beautiful liar slides two positions at No. 3. Pink’s U + ur hand remains at No. 4 in its eighteenth week on the chart.

Nelly Furtado’s say it right holds at No. 5. Timbaland ft. Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake’s give it to me is up one position at No. 6 while Maroon5’s makes me wonder jumps two slots 9-7.

Coming at No. 8 Justin Timberlake’ what goes around comers around is down two positions. Julieta Venegas’ eres para mi is down 8-9. Chris Daughtry’ it’s not over holds at No. 10 closing the top ten.

This week the greatest gainer is Daddy Yankee ft. Fergie’s impacto which jumps seven positions from 34 to 27. The Hot Shot Debut is Rhianna ft. Jay-Z’s umbrella at No.37. Other debut is Enrique Iglesias’ do you know / dimelo (the pinng pong song) at No.40.
